With players starting to find their groove after two full days on the ice, Tuesday brought another busy day that was highlighted by a goalie-specific practice and academic advising.
As per usual, the day started with a full schedule of team practices as teams reverted back to the schedule format seen on Sunday. However, the boys with the big pads were afforded some extra fun on the ice as all WRHP Camp goaltenders participated in a one-hour goaltending session.
Skaters from Team Kelly Green volunteered to help pepper the netminders in what proved to be an exciting, demanding ice session for the boys between the pipes.
The WRHP Camp Seminar Series continued once again on Tuesday with a visit from Avery McGlenn of The Vanguard School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Speaking at the WRHP Camp for the second consecutive year, McGlenn help illustrate to players the importance of not only performing well academically but also the significance of building a strong, diverse transcript.
Once again, the day concluded with another roundup of tight, competitive games. No team is undefeated after three games, thereby setting up a dramatic Wednesday before the schedule
